Cloud-based management system NAMS undergoes a technical update to incorporate the latest IMCA D024 DESIGN Rev 3 requirements.

The end of 2021 saw the latest revision of the IMCA D024 DESIGN for Saturation (bell) Diving Systems Rev 3 released. This latest revision has seen a large number of additional technical changes, including the introduction of a section relating to "Diving System Assessment – Automated Control Systems".

Due to this addition by IMCA within the D024, our project team has seen an increased interest in these assessments. Following the initial evaluation, our technical support team will cross-reference the information gathered for compliance with the appropriate automation standards.

Compliance with the EN 61508 "Functional safety of electrical, electronic and programmable electronic safety-related systems" can be considered a complex and challenging task to complete. Our teams are experienced with both automation standards and dive system life-critical applications, so they are ideally suited to ensure compliance no matter the standard being applied.

In addition to the applicable standards, our team can also carry out full assurance on automation & management systems for compliance with IOGP 468 Appendix D to assure your automated processes are compliant with industry standards.

Our cloud-based content and asset management system, NAMS, has also undergone an update to incorporate all of the required automation and technical updates within the latest D024 rev 3 edition. This means Namaka Subsea can offer clients a complete package for automation assessment, assurance and compliance, all of which can be wrapped up in our fully customisable content management system.

Namaka Asset Management System (NAMS) is a cloud-based management system developed to support Diving, ROV and Marine equipment, which can be accessed from anywhere on any mobile device with an internet connection. The system's security features individual encrypted user logins, so you can always be assured that your data is safe.

The system encompasses all the usual features you would expect in any Content Management System. However, Namaka has also incorporated a few additional features to help you with your asset management.
