Namaka Compliance Collaborate with Major Recruitment (Scotland) on Competence

Namaka Subsea’s Compliance Division is delighted to announce that they have formed a collaboration with Major Recruitment (Scotland) in Aberdeen for the competence of contractors.

The collaboration will see the contractor’s competence tracked through an electronic competence management system known as ‘Athena’ the system will have a dual function of training and competence.

This will see their organisation set apart from their competitors as there will be clearly defined ways of ensuring competence is mapped for interim competence whichever client they support in the Energy Sector.

Prior to the launch of this system, various offshore contractors were engaged from various positions and many expressed concerns that competence was an issue that needed to be redefined with less paperwork. The workforce engagement facilitated by Major Recruitment (Scotland) led to the creation of a simplistic user-friendly system ensuring that works in tandem with operations being conducted and allows for the relevant HR departments to access this information along with GDPR guidelines.
