We have developed a range of training courses to assist with career development and the provision of a competent workforce, Namaka Subsea can assist individuals to reach their true potential within the workplace.

Working with the Client we will endeavour to ensure that processes and decisions result in the overall reduction of risk associated with projects, which will include attending and participating in project planning meetings and project HIRA’s, as well as the development of the project risk assessment and diving project plans.

Namaka Subsea has developed a number of solutions of clients based on industry compliance, including Competence Management System, Medical Equipment and an Equipment Management System.

It is our aim to take the knowledge and experience gained by our personnel, over the years, to provide both technical and operational support to our Clients within the subsea industry.

Namaka Subsea provide a Client Representative, competent and trained to the requirements of IOGP RP 431, ensuring a vast knowledge base and experience to carry out their duties both safely and diligently.

We insist on a high standard of personnel competence. Therefore, a Client Representative supplied by Namaka Subsea must have a minimum amount of experience, which includes, but is not limited to, having worked in the oil and gas industry for more than ten years and holding a recognised qualification relevant to their discipline.

To ensure that our Client Representatives meet with the required industry competence for each specific project, Namaka Subsea has developed a competence system that includes competence assessments that each Client Representative is assessed against.

This assessment ensures they have the required skill, knowledge, qualification and experience relevant to the role required for the project and ensures they hold an industry recognised Client Representative training certificate. Their information is then verified and stored in Athena, a digital competence management system designed by our sister company Namaka Compliance. Once all their data has been input into Athena, experience, qualifications etc., this can then be shared with clients prior to project commencement.

Our Client Representatives shall:

  • Act as 'the eyes and ears for the Client regarding offshore operations and ensure that work procedures and management of change are followed.
  • Ensure that health & safety issues are kept foremost
  • Monitor competence issues with the team performing work at the site
  • Ensure compliance with local and international legislation and guidance
  • Monitor the safety & efficiency of operations
