Namaka Subsea, an Aberdeen based Diving Technical Authority, has recently added the R006+ auditing tool to its dive system Content Management System (CMS) - NAMS.
NAMS will produce reports based on the inspection and maintenance results, notifying teams of task workloads forthcoming and completed, spares and critical spares alerts and equipment failure alerts. The application has been developed to support diving operations; it can also be used to manage the maintenance requirements of other systems such as Marine and Diving assets.
This latest addition to NAMS further enhances its functionality, allowing the ability to produce a DESIGN-styled report based on an enhanced version of the current IMCA standard ROV audit document R006.
NAMS is the first asset management system of its kind to coordinate equipment maintenance and offer reduced administration tasks via automated task population and one-click certificate renewals. The system is also compliant with international equipment requirements and project management scheduling.
Namaka Subsea always strive to be at the forefront of technology and looking for innovative ways to support our clients globally. As we are all aware, the recent COVID-19 pandemic has affected business across the globe and has made it difficult to carry out audits of diving systems; however, Namaka Subsea has put a process in place allowing us to continue to support our clients' needs from remote locations.
