Whether you own or operate cranes, lifting or hoisting equipment, assurance is required that they are safe and comply with statutory requirements. This is where Namaka Subsea Lifting Services can assist Clients.

All crane, lifting and hoisting equipment should be serviced, maintained, routinely assessed, and audited to ensure compliance. All equipment requiring calibration, monitoring or measuring controls should be registered and inspected under the appropriate legislation, ensuring that the appropriate certificates or records are held and updated.

Namaka can provide competent auditors to review the basic elements as part of an offshore crane assurance audit to confirm processes and procedures in place are sufficient.

As part of the Lifting assurance, we also offer the service of assisting clients in reviewing lift plans, RAMS, and lifting policies and attending to the mobilisation/load out of the vessels to ensure compliance with the lift plans, RAMs, etc.

Namaka can also assist in ensuring that all personnel involved in lifting operations are trained and competent to the relevant industry standards for rigging and lifting, as well as Banksman Slinger training. Crane Operators must also be competent and have been assessed against the standards for crane operations BS 7121 -11:1998 and NORSOK R-002:2017 G5.
